NFT Information Quick Search

A NFT search utility for NFT users without technical background

Description

NFT Information Quick Search app is built for all NFT users without technical background. As a NFT user, either you are a creator or a collector, you find an interesting NFT listed on a marketplace, such as OpenSea or Zora, and you would like to know who is the original creator and what is the transaction history of this NFT. However, to get all the information, you need to understand all the technical jargons and mechanisms, such as what is Contract Id, what is Token Id, how to search on Etherscan, etc. Unfortunately you have no technical background and you don't want to go thru the hassle of learning those Blockchain technical details. This NFT search app provides you the solution. It is a tool that will help you to get all the information you need without dealing with those technical hassles. Let’s say you just find an interesting NFT listed on a marketplace, such as OpenSea, and you want to know who is the original creator and what is the transaction history of this NFT. You simply copy that NFT URL from the marketplace web site and paste it in the search field of this search app. The search engine will figure out all the blockchain technical details for you and show you the Etherscan result. From Etherscan you can see who is the original creator, shown as his/her Wallet Id, and all the transaction history. This search app supports all the major NFT marketplaces: OpenSea, Mintable, Zora, Rarible, and Superrare. I hope this app can really help all the NFT users without any technical background. Thank you!

How it's made

This project uses Express.js web framework, Jade Template Engine and Etherscan mechanism to search for NFT information. The search is based on Contract Address and Token Id. - Contract Address can either be extracted from the URL user pastes in the search app or pre-stored in the app code. - Token Id can always be extract from the URL. Marketplace, Mintable, is a special case. It does not include Contract Address and Token Id in the URL, instead directly presented on the web page. The search app will instruct user to copy Contract Address and token Id from the web page and put in the search app. Search app will search Etherscan based on the information. This search app supports all the major NFT marketplaces: OpenSea, Mintable, Zora, Rarible, and Superrare.
